“Built by Player for Players” Nation
Thank you to all the teams, coaches, volunteers, staff, umpires and to everyone that was a part of the record shattering Men’s and Women’s World Series in Hamilton Ontario. The event included 214 teams with over 800 games during the four days. The City of Hamilton and Turner Park were once again great hosts and we are always grateful for Tourism Hamilton, Tourism Ontario and the many groups that are a part of bringing this many people together in a safe festive environment.
Attention now turns to Kamloops and the NSA Canada Slo-Pitch Co-ed World Series along with all the teams traveling to and participating in the Eastern World Series in Oshawa Ontario. Both events have seen dramatic registration growth, with yet another World Series Registration record being set for Kamloops and Tournament Capital Ranch. All numbers will be released after the event and data is confirmed; however, we have room for 535 scheduled games encompassing all things parks and recreation in Kamloops and 533 are scheduled!! We hope everyone has an experience of a life time this 2024 Labour Day Weekend..
Upcoming will be 10 days of glory with NSA Canada Saskatchewan Men’s and Women’s Prairie Provincials set to take place in Warman. The event is open to Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta participants. Our target for this inaugural format was 25 teams to suggest we may reach 40-45 teams is not a stretch as the Prairie Provinces are embracing this unique opportunity to battle teams from different provinces for a World Series Title.
Ontario Coed, Ontario Men’s and Women’s as well as the Ontario SPFA provincial World Series events are set to take place in Hamilton in September.
These events run back-to-back weekends and last year over 250 teams participated. We are expecting yet another increase in registration.
Any and all NSA events can be viewed and registration is always available at: nsacanada.ca
Thank you, “Built by Players for Players” Nation,
Regards,
NSA Canada Slo-Pitch
